In order to get rapid feedback, a diverse range of viewpoints and expertise, and keep the community involved in the Bitquence platform development, we are excited to announce the formation of the Bitquence Product Council.  The Product Council will be a small and fluid group of community members and Bitquence staff that will work together to build the best possible product with Bitquence’s resources.

Purpose:

The purpose of the Product Council is get community input into ease of use, clarity and stability and share the excitement of the Bitquence platform.  This will involve early access to working prototypes and alpha versions of the Bitquence platform, and occasional meetings with the Bitquence development team.  It is also expected that members of the Bitquence Product Council will help with quality assurance and bug testing.

Requirements:

In order to participate, you must:

  • Have working knowledge of cryptocurrency
  • Own Bitquence Tokens (of any amount)
  • Be willing to use and put up with alpha software
  • Be willing to provide written feedback & bug reports
  • Have English communication skills
  • Attend occasional online meetings
  • Commit at least 5 to 10 hours to week of time
  • Provide accurate and truthful information about yourself to Bitquence including name, email, address, country of residence etc.

A big plus is experience with quality assurance and understanding JIRA!

Council Size:

The Product Council will be limited to 20 people.

First Meeting Date

For each product release, there will be four major milestones for product council review input:

Milestone 1: Council Demo & Feedback

Milestone 2: Stubbed Platform Access

Milestone 3: Alpha Platform Access

The first milestone is expected to be September 5th, 2017, and it is expected each Milestone will range between 1 and 2 weeks.

We are looking for a diversity of viewpoints and experiences that can represent the Bitquence community as well as the interests of building a platform with a high degree of consumer protection and general best practices for safety and security.
