Bitquence is Shingo’s brainchild. Shingo is an experienced investor in Bitcoin and alt-coins and the ins and outs of the world of crypto currency. Shingo is a computer science and finance student at Brown University, and an upright bass player with the Brown jazz combo. Previously, Shingo was the co-founder of Jobs University, an online school with over 20,000 students. Shingo has assembled an impressive team of elite engineers and business people for the unique Bitquence opportunity.

Stephen Corliss is a highly-experienced financial executive with a long track record in building, leading and scaling successful businesses across Europe, Asia & Americas. Mr. Corliss oversees Bitquence’s global corporate strategy and company expansion including development, communications and execution of all corporate strategic initiatives. Mr. Corliss joins Bitquence after a long and successful career at leading Wall Street firms including Blackrock, UBS, Merrill Lynch and State Street. During his time as COO at Blackrock, he designed, built and oversaw the firm’s global sell-side execution business, including establishing and operating nearly a dozen regulated broker dealers located across the U.S., Europe and Asia, to deliver seamless trade execution and product distribution of global Equities, Fixed Income, Mutual and Exchange Traded Funds (ETF’s) worldwide. He also managed all related external regulatory relationships with the SEC, FINRA, Federal Reserve, FCA (U.K.), MAS (Singapore), SFC (Hong Kong), ASIC (Australia), and others. Stephen was instrumental in the company’s transformation of its sell-side activities from an analogue to a digital business involving revenues in excess of $225 Million and $350 billion in global trading volume annually.

Tim is a seasoned product and technology leader with decades of experience developing innovative products at companies such as Citrix, Zscaler, and Roper Technologies. He holds multiple patents in the area of information security and mobility, and is passionate about cryptocurrency investing and blockchain development.

In addition to being an avid crypto investor, Kevin built his expertise as product manager with a successful track record of launching and improving financial systems at a Fortune 50 company. His keen ability to uncover business value has been used to optimize multi-billion dollar investment portfolios, for trade floor and pricing desk analytics, in determining exit strategy and for payment processing. Kevin has extensive experience building high performance agile teams and organizing and leading new products from idea through execution.

Dennis “SQL-god” Chen is a data guru with 5 granted patents to his name. Before joining the Bitquence team, Dennis was CTO at Funmobility, responsible for the technical direction and infrastructure of complex data-driven applications that managed over $1B in mobile micro transactions. Dennis has authored or co-authored 5 granted mobile technology patents. Prior to founding FunMobility, he was the founder and Chief Scientist of Specular International. At Specular, he assembled and led an elite engineering team that designed and developed many award winning 2D and 3D professional graphics software such as Infini-D, Collage, Logomotion and Backburner.

Maurice Herlihy has an A.B. in Mathematics from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from M.I.T. He has served on the faculty of Carnegie Mellon University, Brown University and the staff of DEC Cambridge Research Lab. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Dijkstra Prize in Distributed Computing, the Gödel Prize in theoretical computer science, the ISCA influential paper award, the Edsger W. Dijkstra Prize, and the Wallace McDowell award. He received a 2012 Fulbright Distinguished Chair in the Natural Sciences and Engineering Lecturing Fellowship, and he is fellow of the ACM, a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors, the National Academy of Engineering, and the National Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Lincoln is an award-winning engineer and mobile visual experience designer. With over 27 Years of experience, Lincoln is a veteran of the space. Before working at Bitquence, Lincoln was VP Engineering at Funmobility specializing in creating enterprise applications designed to scale. Lincoln is the lead architect and designer of FunMobility DXP, which received the prestigious IBM Leader Award and has been used for campaigns by brands including Pepsi, Chiquita, Ace Hardware and was used extensively for the launch of Universal’s “Minions” movie.

Adam has deep experience in multi-channel mobile branding, demand generation, content and advertising. Adam’s work has reached over 60 million consumers spanning 15 billion unique consumer interactions. Adam has extensive M&A experience both on buy and sell side, most notably selling Specular to a $700M public company and thereafter running their R&D operations, and acquiring the mobile media assets of Infospace a $1B publicly traded company. Adam has built dozens of mobile products for Fortune 100 U.S. companies and wireless carriers worldwide, holds several patents, and served as Chair for the MMA’s Mobile Standards Committee, defining industry standards for the multi billion dollar mobile compliance segment.

Aiko is a legal and financial whiz who knows how to keep i’s dotted and t’s crossed. Aiko is a member of the American Association of Individual Investors and is highly experienced in managing investment services as part of her responsibility as an HR Director and Corporate Legal Administrator.

Kevin is an active participant in the cryptocurrency community and is an early Bitquence community admin and educator. He posts regular articles on Steem and is an active contributor. Kevin is studying computer science and economics at Brown University, as well as studying Chinese. He is helping administer the Bitquence community channels and support and is an early BQX backer.
